  1. Pour in your chocolate chips (any brand will do) onto your bowl. Place it in the microwave oven* and turn the power on at 50%. Heat for 20 seconds.Optional: If you prefer to use coconut oil (or any other flavoring, such as vanilla extract or lime extract), add it to the mix.
  2. Once melted, dip the gummy bears one at a time. Don’t make the mistake of pouring them all in at once - this can be really messy! To get them out, use a fork or a pair of tiny tongs. If they are still drippy, shake them a bit to remove any excess chocolate. Transfer them onto your wax paper (on a tray or plate).
  3. After you’re happy with how they are all covered with chocolate, take the tray and chill them inside the fridge for half an hour or so.
  4. Once they have all settled, take them out and place them in an airtight food container. Feel free to serve them now or later. enjoy!

3

Here’s the crazy part: in a container or bowl, pour in the candy sprinkles. Then, put the chocolate covered gummy bears into the bowl and coat them with sprinkles. Once you are happy with the chocolate and sprinkle coating, scoop them out with the fork and transfer onto your wax paper on a tray.

4

Place the tray in the refrigerator. Allow them to cool and set. After about half an hour, take them out. They are now ready. Serve and enjoy!

Both versions are fun and easy to make. Whether they are for kids or kids at heart, you can’t lose with chocolate covered gummy bears. For those without microwave ovens, you can melt your chocolate chips the old-fashioned way. Simply pour them in a heat-resistant bowl. Fill a pot halfway with water and boil it over your stovetop. Place the bowl over the boiling water. You will see the chocolate melting. Stir regularly to facilitate smooth melting and consistency. Once there are no more lumps, turn off the heat and remove the pot and bowl from the stove.
